Cancellations

If you are unable to attend a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. All “no show” appointments and late cancellations will be assessed a full session fee.

We believe late cancellations negatively impact you, your clinician, and another client who could have utilized that time. Therapy tends to be most helpful to people who view their appointments as an important and valuable component of their lives. Showing up for your scheduled session demonstrates commitment to your therapeutic process. Once a clinician has carved out that time for you, that appointment is no longer available to someone else who may have benefited from that space.

Insurance

We are a private pay or self-pay practice, which means we are not in network with any insurance providers.

We currently have two therapists who are non-network, non-participating providers with Tricare. If you see one of them, you will pay your full session fee at the time of service and then submit a claim to Tricare for partial reimbursement (minus your cost share).

For all other clients, if you’re interested in using your out-of-network benefits, we’re happy to support that process. We provide monthly Superbills, typically sent on the 5th of the following month, which you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

🔗 Need help figuring out how out-of-network reimbursement works?

Check out our step-by-step blog post on using insurance with an out-of-network provider.

We believe therapy and psychiatry are powerful investments in your long-term well-being. And while working out-of-network means paying out of pocket, there are meaningful benefits:

  • Greater privacy—your personal information stays between you and your provider

  • Flexible care that’s guided by clinical expertise and your personal goals—not insurance limits
